I am writing to tell you how wonderful I think Magic Sheen is. I used some that my trainer had to try and detangle my horse's mane. I sprayed it on and left it in overnight since it really was a mess and nearly hopeless. The next day I was ready to "do battle" with the tangles, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they combed out very easily and without losing a lot of hair. Since I couldn't find Magic Sheen at a retailer near where I live, I found the company online and ordered directly. Thank you so much for your product and your help! –T.K.

Mane Mousse™

“I thought Shapley’s Mane Mousse was going to be too frou-frou for my pasture horses, but I agreed to try it anyway and loved the results it produced....Wow! All eight manes and tails were shiny and luscious.  Contrary to their usual unruliness, the manes stayed obediently as though I’d properly trained them from day one (which I hadn’t) The braided manes and tails had Nicole Kidman-like waves; the banded braids looked smooth and free of short stragglers; the blow dried ones were fluffy and full; and those that were air dried had prominent natural waves.

I’d definitely use this product on show day.  But frankly, once in a while I get a thrill out of ‘moussing’ my Friesian horses for trail rides, too.  Passersby often act as I did the first time: Wow!”-K.H.-Horse & Rider -  April 1999

“She (our tester) says the Mane Mousse provided just the right amount of extra grip and control.  Banding went terrifically easily, so did braiding.  Both braids and bands stayed in place (even overnight to a next-day class).  After she unbanded or unbraided, a simple brushing had manes back to normal look and feel. 

On the enhancement side, working mousse into the tail hairs added a bit of volume to the thin tail and puffed out the already lush tail of a stallion she was showing. 

The mousse delivered as promised, both as a control agent for mane management and as a pick-me-up for tails that needed pizzazz.  And, unlike many other such products, it did not serve as a magnet for grit, sand or blowing dust.-Practical Horseman,  1999

Natural Elegance - love the smell! It's thick, so a small amount soften the mane & tail and the tangles comb right out. I also like the way my horses whole coat feels after applying. Leaves it shiny and soft to the touch, almost like he's spent a day at the salon when I am finished!

Hello, I just wanted to tell you how much I love your Show Touch-Up's! I could not get a yellow stain out of my mare's white tail for a show and as a bit of a last result, I decided to give your product a try. I sprayed it on the night before our classes and the next day her tail was a beautiful, NATURAL looking, white and best of all, the judges couldn't even tell I'd used anything because her tail still flowed and moved freely. I first encountered this product at a paint horse show where I needed a quick touch up and no water for bathing was available. The Mobile tack shop suggested your product (Show Touch Ups) and I’ve been hooked ever since!!! We use it not only on our show horses, but our show cattle too!!! We personally have a Buckskin that never enters the show ring without your black spray on his legs. I cannot tell you how many shops I have talked into carrying your products. Multiple Products

Hello, my name is Shelby from Lee county I just had a clinic at the Lee County and South West Florida Fair with Liz Fischer.

I currently have an eight-year-old paint named Toby. Toby has a lot of white on him and it is hard to get the yellow spots out. I have tried spot remover and triple J whiting shampoo. Nothing has worked. But Liz told us all about Shapley’s products so I had to go out and buy them! I got the Whitening shampoo, the White Show Touch Up spray, M-T-G, No. 1 Light Oil, Mane Mousse and Hi Shine shampoo, then I went and gave him a bath and oh my gosh, was he white and beautiful! I just wanted to drop you a little note about 3 of your products. I absolutely love you Hi Shine shampoo, I have used many other shampoos for my horses and none of them leave the horse feeling as soft and silky as Hi Shine. The thing I like the most about the Hi Shine Shampoo is that it doesn't dry their coat or their skin out leaving them to appear dull and dry looking. I recently bought a horse that was not cared for in the standards that I care for my animals, her coat was very dull. Her mane and tail were very dried out and brittle. I was totally amazed at her appearance after just 1 washing with the Hi Shine Shampoo, she was shiny and very silky feeling. I used your Natural Elegance Conditioner on her mane and tail, wow, what a difference, her mane and tail were easy to comb thru, and seemed to have better elasticity. I have been using you Magic Sheen on her also, the thing I like best about this product is that it actually repels the dirt to keep the horse cleaner for a longer period of time. I have always been a user of Show Sheen on my horses, but Magic Sheen seems to give them a better shine and doesn't seem to leave to build up on the hair like Show Sheen. I would recommend these product to anyone they are absolutely fantastic – B.S.

I just wanted to let you know how great your MTG & Whitening shampoo are...I have an imported Pure Spanish Andalusian stallion, BUHONERO 1 that was 2003 & 2004 USEF Horse of the Year in Halter, Performance and Amateur, along with 2004 IALHA National Champion and 2004 Champion of Champions under the Spanish Military Judge, Col. Bobi. I believe that the MTG keeps his mane, tail & forelock in show condition year round! I NEVER have to keep it braided & risk having it break off since it doesn't tangle!!! The Whitening shampoo truly brings out his metallic brilliance to where I DO NOT use a "finishing shine spray"!-B.H.
